Czech high school students from Kyjov visited TESCAN

Oct/07/2013
Students from Secondary school Klvaňová based in Kyjov spent interesting day surrounded by high-tech products. Guides through the exciting world of the electron microscopy and tour of the TESCAN headquarter were application engineers Jana Havránková and Vratislav Košťál.
The guided tour started with a short introduction to scanning electron microscopy, continued by the excursion in R&D laboratories and assembling. Even the demonstration of work with the electron microscope was included.

Excursions and similar activities give the company TESCAN, the global supplier of scanning electron microscopes, great opportunity to introduce this sophisticated discipline to general public. To maintain the competitiveness it is very important to start searching for new skilled professionals during their studies and support their interest in science and technology.
