May/30/2017
The 2nd Slovene Microscopy Symposium took place in the Marine Biology Station in Piran on 11th and 12th of May 2017.
The main goal of the symposium was to bring together the emerging young researchers and the experts applying different microscopy techniques in the fields of life sciences, materials science and industry.

Besides presentating the latest achievements and trends in microscopy, the symposium also provided an opportunity to introduce the research groups and their microscopy methodologies on all levels of resolution, with aims of comprehensive overview of available microscopy techniques in Slovenia and exchange of knowledge between various branches of microscopy and areas of research.

TESCAN and its general representative Mikrolux had the booth at the 2nd Slovene Microscopy Symposium and it was a great opportunity to present the news of TESCAN’s achievements to Slovene Microscopy Society.

The organizers took care for the good and friendly atmosphere and a dinner on the boat was the perfect touch for the excellent organization.
