Thousandth TESCAN scanning electron microscope acquired by Preciosa

TESCAN, a world leading manufacturer of scanning electron microscopes and focused ion beam workstations, sold its thousandth device.
Despite of the fact that the major part of the company production is exported, the thousandth sold unit stayed at home – in the Czech Republic. Field emission scanning electron microscope will help experts from Preciosa (Jablonec nad Nisou) improve and innovate their products and in addition develop new manufacturing technologies.

Lubomir Malek, Director of Corporate Development in Preciosa, claims that the purchase - conditions for the TESCAN microscope were based on the parameters, observation scope and measurement capabilities, concerning of course the best price to the performance ratio. "Our business partners provided us with positive references on TESCAN products which also significantly influenced our decision. We had an opportunity to make experience with many competitors devices, but none of them was as user friendly as TESCAN. We also do appreciate the preliminary access to the device at company headquarters in the Czech Republic. The service availability in the Czech Republic stands for us for warranty of reliability and trouble-free maintenance,” so Lubomir Malek.
