TIMA in Paterson, Australia

The TESCAN Integral Mineral Analyser (TIMA) is being used in the conjoint study carried out by Sipa and the CSIRO Discovery Research Team. The study involves the integration and analysis of different collected datasets to assist with drill-hole targeting and expedite discovery.
The collaborative research study uses the TIMA analyser as its key breakthrough technology for automated mineralogical analyses combined with integrated geological interpretation of in-house and publically available bedrock geology and geophysics.
