On 3 May TESCAN finished its long-prepared transformation from a limited liability company to a joint stock company. This step is a signal of further growth and changes planned at TESCAN for the future.
The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague can boast a unique device since the end of last year. TESCAN has implemented there a field emission scanning electron microscope MIRA II XMH equipped with a focused ion beam. The faculty has therefore become the only university department in the Czech Republic to own such kind of apparatus.
