Embracing the Future: TESCAN Group’s Strategic Expansion and Leadership Evolution

In a bold stride towards the future, TESCAN Group is set to further shape the landscape of electron microscopy and micro-CT technology with the launch of two Premier Demo Labs in North America. Scheduled to open in Q2 2024 in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, and Phoenix, Arizona, these facilities mark a significant leap in our mission to deliver dynamic and interactive client experiences.

A Vision Realized

The introduction of these labs is the result of a three-year process to enhance our service quality and market responsiveness – a vision spearheaded by Gary Hawkinson, our outgoing CEO of TESCAN USA. Gary’s leadership has been instrumental in steering TESCAN towards this ambitious expansion, and as he transitions into retirement, his legacy continues to inspire us.

Advanced Facilities for Enhanced Client Experience

The Warrendale and Phoenix Premier Demo Labs will offer an immersive environment where clients can explore and interact with our latest instruments, including the innovative Tensor TEM. This hands-on approach is designed to deepen our client relationships and underscore our dedication to advancing scientific research and development.

Leadership for the Next Chapter

As we navigate this period of transition, Pete Lander, our Chief Sales Officer, will temporarily oversee TESCAN USA operations. The search for a new Vice President of Sales for North America is underway, signaling our commitment to strengthening our leadership team and enhancing our strategic market position.

Looking Ahead

These developments symbolize our ongoing commitment to innovation, excellence, and partnership with our clients. As TESCAN steps into this new chapter, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead to foster collaboration, drive research forward, and achieve new milestones together.

Stay tuned to our journey as we continue to break new ground and set new standards in the electron microscopy sector in North America and beyond.
