Cycling season commences in Belgium and many other countries around the world and TESCAN wants to wish everyone a great ride. New materials are being created for bicycles and helmets that not only improve safety but also rider performance.
Materials Research Scientists at KU LEUVEN are using the TESCAN micro-CT just for this purpose. Steel bikes and plastic helmets are a thing of the past. So don’t be like this guy in the video, upgrade to a carbon fiber bike and wear a good helmet to win the race and stay safe!
