The research provides a new route to obtain the band gap engineered bismuth oxychloride light harvesting semiconductor nanocatalyst allowing synthesizing new photocatalysts having effective applications in water treatments. The morphologies and elemental composition were investigated using the TESCAN FIB-SEM FERA3 fitted with an energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS).
