The Workshop attracted more than forty researchers and experts in the fields of focused ion beams, laser ablation and abrasive water jet processing. They represented prestigious companies (Rolls-Royce, ON Semiconductor, WaterJet AG) as well as respected academic institutions (Fraunhofer IISB, EMPA, University of Nottingham, KU Leuven, etc.) Invited lectures were delivered by Dr. David Pleha from ON Semiconductor, Prof. Massimiliano Annoni from Politecnico di Milano and Dr. James Kell from Rolls-Royce. The two-day program also included demonstrations of four high-end TESCAN instruments.
Final Workshop of the STEEP project
