Introducing Q-PHASE – Visit us during mmc2015

At the mmc2015 in Manchester, the new Q-PHASE, a unique Multimodal Holographic Microscope for Quantitative Phase Imaging (QPI) and Life Sciences will be introduced to the scientific community. Q-PHASE is based on a patented technology of coherence-controlled holographic microscopy. Such technique uses incoherent light sources (halogen lamp, LED) giving as a result QPI at the highest quality without any compromises. Furthermore, it is the only technique which allows for the imaging of samples in scattering media; something completely novel and never achieved before in QPI imaging.

Introducing Q-PHASE – Visit us during mmc2015

Q-PHASE is aimed at applications in the area of live cell imaging, with emphasis on cell biology, cancer research, drug testing and necrobiology; all these, rapidly developing areas of research where this remarkable QPI technique could undoubtedly contribute to major findings and interesting results. Based on a robust inverted transmission microscope platform, the Q-PHASE enables multiple imaging modes with fully integrated Fluorescence, simulated DIC and brightfield imaging, features of which position Q-PHASE as a valuable research tool for biological and biotechnological applications.

TESCAN is a leading global company with 25 years of experience in the field of charged particle technology and detectors solutions with HQ located in Brno, Czech Republic. With the launch of Q-PHASE, TESCAN expands now into the field of advanced light microscopy by delivering an innovative and revolutionary instrument top of its class.
