Scientists spend sleepless hours trying to find solutions to the world’s challenges. Scientists King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) are improving the world with their research & development of transparent & flexible solar cells and new types of fuels that reduce greenhouse gases and other harmful pollutants.
KAUST is using the TESCAN CoreTOM micro CT system in their lab to study ways to store CO2 in depleted oil & gas reservoirs, looking at the porosity of rocks in the deposit and examining how CO2 flows through the pores.
