Enhanced Facilities for Local and Global Support
As part of TESCAN’s broader US strategy, the company has made significant investments to strengthen its presence across the country. This includes the recent opening of a new demonstration lab in Tempe, Arizona, in October 2024, which features the TENSOR STEM and Solaris 2 FIB-SEM systems. Together with the Warrendale lab, these facilities create a comprehensive network for customer collaboration and technology development.
“TESCAN is committed to supporting our US customers as well as from Canada or South America with the tools and expertise they need to tackle their toughest challenges,” said Jean-Charles Chen, TESCAN’s CEO. “These investments demonstrate our dedication to being a reliable partner in driving innovation across key industries.”
The remodeled Warrendale lab is an integral part of TESCAN’s strategy to strengthen its footprint in North America. In addition to housing advanced demonstration equipment, the lab now serves as a hub for customer collaboration, technical support, and application development. With an investment of up to $10 million in upgrades across its US facilities, TESCAN reaffirms its dedication to supporting scientific and industrial innovation in the region.
Looking Ahead
“The reopening of our Warrendale lab marks a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering world-class electron microscopy solutions to our customers in all Americas,” said Jason Marshall, TESCAN Sales VP. “This facility enhances our ability to meet the evolving needs of industries ranging from energy and semiconductors to life sciences and advanced materials.”
Building on the momentum from the opening of the Tempe lab in October, the Warrendale facility showcases TESCAN’s unique product portfolio, featuring solutions that address the challenges of modern research and manufacturing.
