TESCAN is one of the main partners of the educational course, “Autumn School of Electron Microscopy” for postgraduate students and young scientists working in the field of electron microscopy. It is organized by the Institute of Instrumentation of the CAS and takes place 17 to 21 October.
At TESCAN, our mission is to continuously improve the electron microscopy ecosystem. Therefore, we are very happy to support events such as Autumn School of Electron Microscopy and to be part of the education of young scientists who are eager to contribute to pushing the boundaries of human knowledge through electron microscopy.
Our contribution is not only financial, we will also participate in the program itself with lectures by Petr Klímek, Product Marketing Director for Materials Science and Ondřej Šulák, Product Marketing Director for Life Sciences. In an effort to provide a more ‘hands on’ approach, we will welcome the course participants into our laboratories and show them the exciting world of high-end electron microscopy.
This year’s 10th edition is under the auspices of the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prof. RNDr. Eva Zažímalová, CSc. and the Mayor of Brno, JUDr. Markéta Vaňková.
