Micro and nanoparticles of trirutile-type NiSb2O6 were synthesized using the microwave-assisted colloidal method and analysed by means of SEM and TEM techniques. The results of this work show that NiSb2O6 may be a good candidate for gas sensing applications. The powders’ morphology was observed with the TESCAN field-emission scanning electron microscope MIRA3 LMU system at 10 kV in high-vacuum mode.
