Nanoscale silver is used for printed electronic inks which are used in the manufacture of diverse electronic devices including RFID devices, smart labels, OLED displays, and flexible printed circuits. In this work, graphene (GE) and nano-hexagonal Ag platelets (AgNHPs) are combined to synthetisize GE-AgNHPs – a new form of conductive ink that exhibits self-assembly. The structures of GE-AgNHPs subjected to sintering tests were characterised by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) using the TESCAN FE-SEM MIRA3 microscope.
